Research grants and innovation

The Foundation funds Palestinian scholars, educators and technologists to carry out academic research and develop new technology. It is the Foundation's largest program.

What we fund

Research that leads to new technologies, patent applications and technical and scientific articles published in peer-reviewed journals.

How grants are awarded

  1. The Foundation issues a call for research and innovation proposals.
  2. A selection committee, overseen by the Board of Directors, reviews every submission.
  3. Grants are awarded to qualified researchers and innovators, who carry out their projects in Palestine.

Open results

Research findings, technical publications and intellectual property developed with Foundation funding are shared publicly, so that the wider academic and scientific community benefits.
