Rahmah Educational and Innovation Foundation is established
The Rahmah Educational and Innovation Foundation was incorporated on January 15, 2026 as a nonprofit corporation in the State of Michigan.
The Foundation's purpose is to support Palestinian students, educators and scholars in Palestine. It plans four programs: scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students, educational programs and workshops, research and innovation grants, and educational learning centers.
The Foundation then applied to the IRS for recognition as a tax-exempt organization under section 501(c)(3). The IRS has since recognized it as a tax-exempt public charity.
